RASHFORD & RACISM?
A MURAL OF THE MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL STAR, MACUS RASHFORD (commissioned by Withington Walls), WAS DEFACED ON MONDAY, FOLLOWING HIS MISSED PENALTY IN THE EURO 2020 FINAL
FOLLOWING ENGLAND’S DEMISE TO THE ITALIANS in the EURO 2020 FOOTBALL FINAL AT WEMBLEY on Sunday 10 July, 2021; a predictable rash of RACIAL ABUSE was directed at the three ENGLAND PLAYERS who missed their strikes on goal in the deciding PENALTY SHOOT OUT.
I have no idea whether Messrs. RASHFORD, SAKA and SANCHO took particularly poor penalties on Sunday evening after their exertions during 120 minutes of full and extra time left the the two finalist drawn, 1-1; I didn’t watch the match then and haven’t since. But of course ENGLAND’S EXPLOITS (or perhaps lack of them) MADE NATIONAL NEWS, and led the news in one way or another for 3 DAYS.
From what I’ve heard, based on performance, ITALY DESERVED TO WIN THE MATCH (and with it the EURO 2020 trophy). BUT THE FOCUS OF PUBLIC EVALUATION was jerked violently away from England’s performance on the field to the incendiary racial slurs of a few disgruntled “fans” directed at the targeted trio whose fault appears not to be that they failed to score an important penalty, BUT THAT THEY ARE BLACK.
The England manager, GARETH SOUTHGATE, as ever calm and understated, while shouldering responsibility for the England team’s failure, put the racial attacks into context and some proportion. In a report filed by the BBC:
Earlier, manager Gareth Southgate said the racist abuse issued after the defeat was “unforgivable”.
“It’s just not what we stand for,” said Southgate.
“We have been a beacon of light in bringing people together, in people being able to relate to the national team, and the national team stands for everybody and so that togetherness has to continue.
“We have shown the power our country has when it does come together and has that energy and positivity together.
“It’s my decision who takes the penalties, it’s not a case of players not volunteering or more experienced players backing out.”
THE TWITTERSTORM
You may have gathered by now, that I’m not an ardent football fan; and I don’t view these skillful kickers of a ball who to my mind are overpaid and generally overindulged as NATIONAL HEROS; but I do respect their talent and application; and applaud anyone who strives to be a good citizen, whatever their occupation or background.
I DON’T KNOW exactly what the offending tweets said about Mr Rashford and his fellow victims; but I can well imagine. But there was no shortage of high profile supporters who rallied to their defense on the platform; from Formula 1, seven times champion Lewis Hamilton, and their England teammates, to the Duke of Cambridge, President of the Football Association (FA), and BBC titans like Gary Lineker (the highest paid presenter on the network).
I THINK MACUS RASHFORD’S CONSIDERED RESPONSE TO THE RACIST TWEETS WAS COMMENDABLE (again, as reported by the BBC):
“The 23-year-old Manchester United attacker added: “I can take critique of my performance all day long, my penalty was not good enough, it should have gone in but I will never apologise for who I am and where I came from.
“I’ve felt no prouder moment than wearing those three lions on my chest and seeing my family cheer me on in a crowd of tens of thousands.””
It was commissioned in recognition of RASHFORD’S work to tackle child food poverty. The Manchester United forward’s mother provided the quote on the mural, which reads: “Take pride in knowing that your struggle will play the biggest role in your purpose.”
POLITICAL GESTURING?
HOWEVER, it appears to me, that no sooner had the dust settled from the trudge of disconsolate England supporters from WEMBLEY to all corners of the country; the ENGLAND EURO 2020 campaign was being “stoked up” by media and turned into a POLICAL FOOTBALL, to RACE-BATE the population.
[N.B. People have been prevented from meeting together in groups of more than 30 TO WORSHIP; for wedding or funerals; and still can’t sing in CHOIRS – Yet the national football stadium can be FILLED TO CAPACITY so that people can indulge in their true “religion,” FOOTBALL, and worship their IDOLS, who turn out to have feet of clay!]
The Championship was politicised even before it started: with the Home Secretary PRITI PATEL accusing England football players “taking the knee” during warm-up matches of “gesture politics.”
PATEL, who was forced to apologise last November for breaking the Ministerial Code by bullying Home Office civil servants, has been accused of “STOKING THE FIRE,” by refusing to condemn fans who booed the player’s anti-racist protest because of its links to BLM (now a largely discredited as a communist backed movement).
BORIS JOHNSON, the England FAN-IN-CHIEF, also came under fire for his failure to reprimand Patel for her comments. Of course, the Prime Minister is no stranger to racial slurs himself; having compared Muslim women wearing the hijab to “letterboxes,” called black children picanninies, and advocating Africa is RE-COLONISED (which by the way has happened by the back door)!
“This England team deserve to be lauded as heroes, not racially abused on social media,” said the prime minister. He later started a Downing Street
briefing by praising the players, adding: “They brought joy to this country and to those who have been directing racist abuse I say ‘shame on you and I hope you will crawl back under the rock from which you emerged’.”
When Mr. Johnson advises those hurling racial epithets at England’s ‘heroes’ to “crawl back under the rock from which (they) emerged;” one assumes he is going to move over to make room for them?
It seems safe to say: we need not take any lessons or instructions on RACISM from Mr. Johnson or Priti Patel for that matter.
STARING AT THE HOLE!
HOWEVER, THE WHOLE DEBATE IS A HUGE DIVERSION FROM TWO VERY IMPORTANT MATTERS OF THE MOMENT:
First, REAL RACISM, which is not an inconsequential “twitter-storm,” but DEEPLY EMBEDDED IN BRITAIN’S INFRASTRUCTURE, from the TOP to the very bottom;
And second, the GOVERNMENT’S LETHAL ASSAULT on the personal health and FREEDOMS of the British public; imposing a “police state” and MEDICAL TYRANY under the guise of a “health emergency” and pandemic.
When I speak about racism traversing the length and breadth of British society; I am speaking as a BLACK MAN, born in England with a “LIVED EXPERIENCE” OF RACISM (as an observer and a victim) OVER 65 YEARS.
IN MY VIEW, overt racism in the general population, particularly among younger generations (40 and under), has greatly diminished. *Left to their own devices, most communities are far more cohesive, tolerant and respectful of different ethnic, religious and “minority” groups than they were in the 60s and 70s when I was growing up. The RACE RELATION ACT 1976 has doubtless has helped to bring about this change.
(*For the past two decades Western governments have deliberately pursued policies or relaxed their controls leading to mass immigration from ethnically and religiously diverse nations to destabilise home populations; as we see happening on the US southern border today.)
ALTHOUGH THINGS HAVE IMPROVED, what is written on paper is never enough to change what is written in men’s hearts; and DESPITE LEGISLATION, “INSTITUTIONAL RACISM” still persists. And it will continue as long the architects within the British aristocracy and real wielders of power remain in control of the “ship of state.” These are small, racist minority at the helm of society, whose influence goes back hundreds of years. BORIS JOHNSON is only one of their mouthpieces.
IF BRITISH HISTORY is honestly and properly examined (not the bloody, pointless history of fratricidal Kings and Queens), the blatant racism of the British Empire is all too obvious. What is not so obvious, perhaps, is the part that “race theory” has played in mainstream education and the presentation of WORLD HISTORY; let alone British cultural history.
WE WILL LEARN FAR MORE FROM WHAT IS HIDDEN IN THE DUSTY VAULTS OF THE BRITISH MUSEM, THAN FROM WHAT IS PUT ON DESPLAY, ABOVE.
Those in the upper echelons responsible for “dog whistles,” racial slurs and stoking xenophobic fervor, are the same culprits whose forebears were responsible for the rape and pillage or every fruitful corner of the earth and its indigenous often culturally superior peoples. What these people lacked was not “CIVILISATION,” but modern weaponry and the evil animus to use it to commit genocide time and time again.
VACCINE GENOCIDE
FAST FORWARD TO 2020 – 2021, AND THEY’RE AT IT AGAIN. But this time their weapons of choice are “VACCINES!”
While the public’s attention is drawn aside by: discoveries of mass graves of indigenous children in CANADA; anniversaries of “Juneteenth” and George Floyd “death” in the US; debates around REPARATIONS for the slave trade; ALONG WITH A STEADY DIET OF FAKE NEWS AND STATISTICS; and now, a well rehearsed and ultimately hollow debate about vetting and controls on social media platforms; REAL PEOPLE IN ACTUAL COUNTRIES ARE BEING STARVED OR VACCINATED TO DEATH!
ADD TO THIS THE CLIMATE CHANGE HOAX; now aggressively being used to subjugate the masses, and funnel them into a FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION whose aim is to eliminate the “need” for 90% of human beings alive today! Talk about “mad scientists,” it is far worse than that; the world is in the EVIL GRIP of EUTHANISING MANIACS!
To some extent “race” is a side issue; although it is noticeable that these EUGENECISTS are keen to have black and brown people at the front of the line for these vaccine trials. Because the goal is to “vaccinate” all 7 billion people and DECIMATE Earth’s population; with preference given to oriental peoples who, according to Klaus Schwab will be more useful because of their history of bowing down to authoritarian rule.
The Evil Elite want to keep the masses focussed on petty squabbles, while the really important issues go largely UNCHALLENGED!
PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PSYCHOLOGICAL MANIPULATED. It’s like the FROG in the BOILING WATER: throw a frog into boiling water and it will LEAP OUT; but put it into a pan of cold water and HEAT IT SLOWLY, and it will sit there until it eventually boils to death.
THESE VACCINES ARE SLOW MOTION KILLERS; BIO-WEAPONS DESIGNED TO DEBILITATE AND KILL OVER TIME. NOW THESE DEVIL WORSHIPPERS WANT TO START INJECTING SCHOOL CHILDREN; EVEN THOSE UNDER THE AGE OF 12!
THE EVIL ELITE ARE USING THEIR AGE-OLD STRATEGY OF ‘DIVIDE AND RULE:’ Pitting BLACK AGAINST WHITE; the vaccinated against the un-vaccinated; the masked against the unmasked; the old against the young; and one nation against another.
Don’t allow yourself to be distracted by their puerile bullshit. The big issue is NOT FOOTBALL RACISM; it is about GOOD PEOPLE standing up against GLOBAL TYRANY and EVIL!
